Chief Operating Officer & Project Management Specialist

Matt Findlay, MD, is a SoundPass Medical Co-Founder and current neurosurgery resident at the University of Utah Health. Matt currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer and Project Management Specialist for SoundPass Medical. In pursuing a career in academic neurosurgery, Matt has already contributed to improving the field through his contributions of over 80 peer-reviewed publications, with several national research awards from the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

As a current neurosurgical resident, Matt has daily exposure to the challenges with current EVD placements and complications seen in patients. Similarly, his growing expertise within the field of neurosurgery makes Matt an excellent contributor to user-requirements and clinical nuances including ergonomic and data display design requirements in addition to effectuating cadaver and animal surgical trials.
